Breast Cancer Support Group
We help women and men at any stage of diagnosis and treatment understand how breast cancer affects them emotionally and spiritually, not just physically. Our mission is to ensure, through information, empowerment and peer support, that no one faces breast cancer alone. The group is led by a trained facilitator and offered at locations around the Houston area:

Women’s Cancer Support Group
Fighting cancer can be a tough road, and the journey can affect you physically, emotionally and spiritually. But you are not alone. No matter your stage of diagnosis or treatment, we are here to help – empowering you with information and lifting you up with peer support. The group is led by trained facilitators from Houston Methodist West Hospital.
Meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Houston Methodist Cancer Center at West.

Esophageal Cancer Support Group
Join patients who have been diagnosed with esophageal cancer, or who have undergone treatment for esophageal cancer, and their caregivers in a compassionate and supportive setting. Our thoracic oncology surgeons facilitate each session to help patients better understand the physiological and emotional impact of esophageal cancer and its treatment.
Meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month, from 5 to 6 p.m. at Houston Methodist Hospital.

Peak Center Brain Tumor Support Group
Our group offers patients and their families, friends, and caregivers an environment of support and education. The group meets monthly to hear from featured guest speakers, share experiences and offer emotional support.
This group is open to everyone, including patients from other hospitals. It is especially valuable to patients with brain tumors (both primary and metastatic) and those suffering neurologic complications from cancer. Caregivers also find this group beneficial.
Meetings are held the second Monday of every month, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.; parking and dinner provided.
