Allied health professionals are essential members of our clinical and academic teams. The provide skills and knowledge for a range of critical diagnostic, technical and therapeutic support services, as well as offering direct patient care. Houston Methodist is recognized as a leader in providing outstanding services to our community, leadership that requires the support of the experienced allied health professionals who make up more than half of our teams.

Medical Laboratory Science Program

This 12-month professional course of study is fully accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS).

Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Post-Professional Education Programs

We offer accredited fellowships for Occupational Therapists in Hand Therapy and Acute Care, an accredited Physical Therapy fellowship in Critical Care and accredited PT Residencies in Acute Care, Orthopedics, and Sports Medicine.
