Infusion Center at Willowbrook

At the Infusion Center at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital, our highly trained staff provides compassionate, personalized and high-quality care to each patient.

 

Designed with patient privacy and comfort in mind, the state-of-the-art center features two treatment areas with a total of 20 patient rooms equipped with televisions, privacy blinds and plush seating for patients and a guest. The center also features six monitored rooms for patients who require more complex medications and need to be monitored more closely by our staff.

Additional features include:

• Two private patient phlebotomy stations
• Universal patient room designed to ensure medical and nursing staff can view and access patients’ rooms from the nursing station at all times
• Ability to rapidly process lab tests
• GE monitors
• Sysmex XS-Series Analyzer for Point of Care testing

Infusion Services We Offer

The Infusion Center provides infusion therapy, which is effective in treating and managing certain disease, as well as specialty infusion medications which are effective in treating chronic and some rare diseases.

 

Services provided include:

• Chemotherapy
• Supportive therapies (included, but not limited to):
• Blood transfusions
• Hydration
• Iron therapy
• Neulasta and Neupogen
• IVIG
• Migraine treatment
• High dose steroid
• Osteoporosis treatment
• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Therapeutic phlebotomy
• Port flushes

Ambulatory infusion services allow the patient to move around the clinic in a safe and supervised manner without being confined to a chair. During treatment, patients are free to move, sit in plush chairs, read books, watch television or browse the internet. 

The Infusion Center at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital is located in suite 150 on the first floor of the Women’s and Children’s Pavilion.
