Department of Radiology
The Department of Radiology research program evaluates the role of imaging (including chest radiographs, CT and PET/CT) in lung cancer and other thoracic malignancies. Lung cancer screening including the detection and characterization of cancers on low dose CT screening examinations is a special focus on the department. Additional research interests include the assessment of tumors response to therapy including anatomic and functional analysis of imaging.
