Message from the Program Director

Mark Sultenfuss, MD
The Houston Methodist Breast Imaging Fellowship program is a recently approved residency program designed to graduate expert radiologists who provide increasing value and quality to patient care. Our vision is to become a premier radiology residency program that adheres to the ICARE values of Houston Methodist: Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence. Houston Methodist also values Diversity and Inclusion in our program. We believe our program is enriched by an inclusive culture that allows us to better serve our patients and community.

My aim as program director is to provide the educational experiences, mentoring, and resources to develop leaders in radiology with the knowledge and skills to succeed in the ever-changing environment of medicine. The faculty, composed of both private and academic clinicians, will provide residents with graduated experiences and responsibilities in medical imaging/interpretation, procedures, consultation services, business acumen, and imaging research.

Living in Houston provides residents with a diverse range of activities/experiences for an enjoyable work-life balance, including professional/collegiate sporting events, biking/jogging trails, museums, theater, social events, and much more. Please explore our website and see why Houston Methodist may be the right choice for your graduate medical education. Feel free to contact our program coordinator, Sheori Sinegal, with any questions concerns at sasinegal@houstonmethodist.org. We look forward to talking to you!
