Mario F. Dulay, PhD

Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurosurgery, Academic Institute
Houston Methodist
Weill Cornell Medical College

The Houston Institute for Neuropsychological Knowledge (THINK) laboratory

Biography

Dr. Dulay conducts neuropsychological assessments on adults with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, epilepsy, stroke, tumor, traumatic brain injury, and psychiatric and movement disorders. Working with neurosurgeons, he conducts pre- and post-surgical evaluations, provides cognitive rehabilitation treatments, and determines disability levels and long-term prognoses. In association with Houston Methodist Concussion Center, Dr. Dulay provides evaluations of patients of all ages who have experienced sports-related or other types of concussive injuries.

Description of Research

Dr. Dulay’s research uses neuropsychological, neurophysiological, neuroimaging and sensory psychophysical methods to understand brain disease, and improve neurorehabilitation and neuropsychotherapy methods.
