Biography

Laura Espinosa is the Director of Nursing for Methodist West Houston Hospital, specializing in critical care, cardiology/cardiovascular, medical/surgical oncology, post-anesthesia, and neurological fields. In addition to clinical and nursing management experience, including M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center, Ms. Espinosa is a nursing activist as part of the Texas Nurses Association, American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and Sigma Theta Tau. She is also a member of the National Honor Society of Nurses, the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the National Association of Hispanic Nurses. She is Visiting Assistant Part-time Faculty at Texas Woman's University and was named one of the Texas Nurses Association 20 Outstanding Nurses for 2009.
