Thank you for choosing the Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital for your health care needs. We are proud of our facility and its unique approach for your good health. We are also proud to be associated with Houston Methodist, world renowned for its healing mix of the latest technology, medical innovation and human caring.
Houston Methodist Willowbrook is a new-generation health care facility, designed with you and your family in mind. We bring Houston Methodist quality close to home, providing you and your loved ones with comfort, convenience and peace of mind.
So, whether you are here for medical diagnosis, treatment or even the birth of a precious little one, you will recognize the special care we have taken to ensure that your experience is a positive one.
The first thing you might notice about Houston Methodist Willowbrook is that it does not look, feel or even smell like a typical hospital. We designed our facility — from the colors to lighting to the windows — to create a soothing, calming atmosphere. Every patient room benefits from the healing properties of natural light, either from the atrium or from the outside perimeter, and ensures the uninterrupted privacy you and your family deserve during the healing process.
We designed our inpatient rooms with your comfort and safety in mind. Our hospital features all private rooms with reclining sleep chairs and pull-out sofas for the comfort of family and friends. The colors selected for our patient rooms combine with natural light to create a calm atmosphere for healing mind, body and spirit. Control panels on your bed allow you to adjust the bed height, call the nurse and operate the lights and television. All of our beds are outfitted with a built-in scale and a special mattress to protect your skin.
While visitors are welcome during your hospital stay, our main concern is for your welfare and quick recovery. Too many visitors or excessively long visits may not be to your benefit. Please ask friends and relatives to observe our visiting rules.
Visiting hours are 24 hours a day. Visitors must check in with Security at the front desk between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m. They will be asked to leave identification with the guard and will receive a visitor badge that must be worn at all times during their after-hours visit. Visiting hours for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) are at the discretion of the nurse.
Friends and family should not visit if they have colds or any infectious diseases, and they should ask the nurse's permission before bringing food to patients. A "No Visitors" sign may be posted on your door upon request.
As part of our commitment to your comfort and complete satisfaction, we provide a complete room service program with a restaurant-style menu. You will discover a wide range of hot and cold breakfast items, along with a variety of lunch and dinner selections, available whenever you are ready to eat. Your menu also reflects any specific dietary restrictions that your doctor has requested. Your visitors are welcome to dine at our food court on the north side of the atrium, open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., or they can order guest trays to be brought to your room.
Healing Garden and Jogging Trail
In addition to our interior healing environment, we invite you to enjoy our Swadesh Khurana Healing Garden, which is open 24/7 and located on the 4th floor in the North Pavilion. The space is designed for maximum patient and family comfort. The garden is a calm and peaceful setting, a key element for both you and your family during your recovery. We also feature a jogging and walking trail, perfect for visiting friends or relatives who need a stretch and a breath of fresh air. After all, they can be a key support to your healing process.
Spiritual Care and Education
For your spiritual needs, a chaplain is available 24 hours a day, and our beautiful chapel, located on the first floor on the south side of the atrium, is always open.
