Paul J. Holman, MD - Spine & Peripheral Nerve Center Director 
Dr. Paul Holman specializes in complex adult spinal reconstruction for tumors, trauma and scoliosis; artificial disc replacement surgery; and kyphoplasty for osteoporotic compression fractures of the spine. He uses the latest technology to perform minimally invasive and image-guided spinal surgery.

Sean M. Barber, MD
Dr. Sean Barber specializes in surgery for tumors of the spinal column, including meningiomas, schwannomas, chordomas, sarcomas, and metastases. He also has substantial experience with endoscopic spine surgery, robotic spine surgery, image-guided spine surgery and other minimally invasive techniques, as well as complex spinal reconstruction, instrumentation, and fusion. 

David S. Baskin, MD
Dr. David Baskin has an active practice specializing in brain and spinal tumors and has operated on more than 10,000 patients in his career. He is a pioneer in pituitary surgery, having performed over 3,400 minimally invasive surgeries in the skull base. He also performs surgery for other brain and spinal tumors, including skull base tumors, meningioma, vestibular schwannomas, and primary and metastatic brain tumors.

David A. Cech, MD
Dr. David A. Cech specializes in back and neck pain, cervical disc disease, microsurgery, neck surgery, spinal cord tumor, spine fusion and spine surgery. 

Amir H. Faraji, MD, PhD

Dr. Amir H. Faraji specializes in the treatment of brain and spinal tumors, neuromodulation for movement disorders and epilepsy, spinal cord stimulation, laser ablation, radiosurgery and peripheral nerve surgery.  

Meng Huang, MD
Dr. Meng Huang specializes in all aspects of minimally invasive spine surgery, including endoscopic spinal deompression and fusion as well as robotic-assisted spine surgery for degenerative disease of the entire spinal column. He also has expertise in treating all other simple and complex spinal conditions including adult scoliosis and other acquired spinal deformities, tumors of the spinal column/cord/nerves, infection of the spine, and fractures of the spine. 

Rob G. Parrish, MD, PhD
Dr. Rob Parrish has been on the medical staff of Houston Methodist Hospital for more than 20 years and has performed thousands of brain, spine and peripheral nerve neurosurgical operations. Dr. Parrish is involved in the education of neurosurgical residents and regularly lectures at the Winter Clinics, sponsored by The Mayfield Clinic, The Mayo Clinic, and The Cleveland Clinic. He is an Aero Medical Examiner for the Federal Aviation Association. 

Fernando E. Silva, MD - Spine Surgery, Neurosurgery, Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital
Dr. Fernando E. Silva is a board-certified, fellowship-trained neurosurgeon who specializes in minimally-invasive and degenerative spine surgery and adult deformity and scoliosis surgery. 

Todd W. Trask, MD
Dr. Todd Trask is an expert in the surgical treatment of brain and spinal tumors, microsurgery of cerebral aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations, and stereotactic radiosurgery for trigeminal neuralgia. He also performs spinal surgery, including spinal reconstruction.

Y. Jonathan Zhang, MD
Dr. Jonathan Zhang specializes in comprehensive treatment of cerebrovascular disorders, including aneurysm, arteriovenous (AV) malformation, dural and spinal AV fistula, carotid-cavernous fistula, cavernous malformation, extracranial and intracranial arterial stenosis or occlusion, hyperacute stroke, and intracranial hemorrhage, with endovascular (catheter-based), and open microsurgical techniques, as well as stereotactic radiosurgery.
