Paul J. Holman, MD - Clinic Director
Dr. Paul Holman specializes in complex adult spinal reconstruction for tumors, trauma and scoliosis; artificial disc replacement surgery; and kyphoplasty for osteoporotic compression fractures of the spine. He uses the latest technology to perform minimally invasive and image-guided spinal surgery.

Glenn Anderson, MD - Medical Director Neurosurgery, Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital
Dr.  Glenn Anderson has been a practicing neurosurgeon for more than 13 years and has extensive experience in spinal surgery,brain tumors, AVM and cerebral aneurysms.

David S. Baskin, MD
Dr. David Baskin has an active practice specializing in brain and spinal tumors and has operated on more than 10,000 patients in his career. He is a pioneer in pituitary surgery, having performed over 3,400 minimally invasive surgeries in the skull base. He also performs surgery for other brain and spinal tumors, including skull base tumors, meningioma, vestibular schwannomas, and primary and metatstatic brain tumors.

J. Bob Blacklock, MD
Dr. J. Bob Blacklock has experience in spinal reconstruction, instrumentation and fusion, utilizing microsurgical minimally invasive techniques and image-guided spinal surgery. He also performs skull base surgery for orbital and sinus tumors, brain and spinal tumor surgery. He has substantial experience in spinal reconstruction revision surgery.

Rob G. Parrish, MD, PhD
Dr. Rob Parrish has been on the medical staff of Houston Methodist Hospital for more than 20 years and has performed thousands of brain, spine and peripheral nerve neurosurgical operations. Dr. Parrish is involved in the education of neurosurgical residents and regularly lectures at the Winter Clinics, sponsored by The Mayfield Clinic, The Mayo Clinic and The Cleveland Clinic. He is an Aero Medical Examiner for the Federal Aviation Association. Dr. Parrish is a Colonel in the United States Army Reserve and serves as Command Surgeon for the 350th Civil Affairs Command. He is an inventor and holds two patents with others pending.

Richard K. Simpson, Jr., MD, PhD
Dr. Richard Simpson has extensive experience implanting deep brain stimulation devices to treat movement disorders, including Parkinson’s disease and tremors. He also implants vagus nerve stimulation devices for epilepsy and severe depression, and he performs stereotactic and functional neurosurgery for movement disorders. Dr. Simpson has performed numerous procedures using spinal cord stimulation for chronic pain, and intrathecal drug delivery systems for pain and spasticity. His current research focuses on Parkinson’s disease and bipolar disorders.

Todd W. Trask, MD
Dr. Todd Trask is an expert in the surgical treatment of brain and spinal tumors, microsurgery of cerebral aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations, and stereotactic radiosurgery for trigeminal neuralgia. He also performs spinal surgery, including spinal reconstruction.

Y. Jonathan Zhang, MD
Dr. Y. Jonathan Zhang specializes in comprehensive treatment of cerebrovascular disorders, including aneurysm, arteriovenous (AV) malformation, dural and spinal AV fistula, carotid cavernous fistula, cavernous malformation, extracranial and intracranial arterial stenosis or occlusion, hyperacute stroke, and intracranial hemorrhage, with endovascular (catheter based), and open microsurgical techniques, as well as stereotactic radiosurgery.
