The Myotonic Dystrophy Clinic is a multidisciplinary care clinic with an exceptional level of care for patients with myotonic dystrophy (DM), the most common form of adult-onset muscular dystrophy. This multi-systemic disorder causes progressive muscle problems, including muscle weakness, trouble relaxing a muscle, and muscle wasting. 

 

Our clinic offers an exceptional level of care for patients with myotonic dystrophy and other neurological disorders. Myotonic Dystrophy Clinic Menu

The Myotonic Dystrophy Clinic is held four times a year in February, May, August and November. Our clinic coordinators schedule consultations or testing with doctors, therapists and social services in one visit. Our local MDA representative is on hand to address equipment needs as well as social and financial issues.

 

The Clinic sees patients by physician referral only. Appointments to the clinic can be made only after a physician has confirmed your diagnosis.
