Will Towers, PharmD
PGY2 Internal Medicine Pharmacy Resident

Will is originally from the small town of Albertville, Alabama. He graduated with his Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy in May 2019 and went on to complete a PGY1 pharmacy residency at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. His current practice interests include neurology, infectious diseases, anticoagulation, and nephrology. During his free time, Will enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. 

Major research project: Comparison of outcomes in patients with anti-xa monitoring versus standard of care in hospitalized patients receiving apixaban or rivaroxaban in the setting of acute kidney injury
Quality improvement project: Evaluation of the use and safety of hypertonic saline infusions
Continuing education program: Direct-acting oral anticoagulants in renal dysfunction
