Community Health Needs

Assessment

The Houston Methodist Office of Community Benefits conducts and publishes a comprehensive assessment of community health needs and indicators to support provision of the highest quality of care to the population at large. The Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) provides both quantitative and qualitative snapshots of current health needs and trends in the community based on a documented engagement process involving state and local public health experts as well as community representatives.

The Houston Methodist CHNA Executive Summary provides a high-level overview of the most assessment conducted in 2022 and the identified community health access priorities developed as result. Please see below for a detailed look at the key findings and the plans Houston Methodist has in place to address these key priorities within the community.
