Community Grants Overview
Houston Methodist is committed to investing in its surrounding community, providing access to health care for its most vulnerable population while addressing social determinants which can enhance health care disparities. Our investments target the communities most served by Houston Methodist which include the eight counties of Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery and Waller.
Houston Methodist offers funding opportunities through two grant programs, the Community Benefits Grant Program and the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Grant Program, focused on the health priorities and social determinants outlined in the latest Community Health Needs Assessment. The Community Benefits Grant Program is focused on increasing access to health care for underserved communities and offers the Community Benefits Grant and the Mental Health Innovation Grant. The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Grant Program is focused on addressing social determinants of health within minority groups and offers the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Grant and the Social Equity Grant.
Please note, organizations may apply for multiple grants as long as the request meets the appropriate eligibility criteria.
