As a part of the Translational Imaging Center at Houston Methodist, the professionals at the Preclinical Imaging Facility give researchers access to the tools, services and expertise they need to perform multi-modal imaging studies on preclinical study models. Our areas of expertise include positron emission tomography (PET), single-proton emission computed tomography (SPECT), computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging/magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRI/MRS), ultrasound and optical imaging. Depending on your needs, we can provide full technical operation, comprehensive training, assistance with experimental design and data analysis and ongoing research support. Our facility houses an operation suite and two imaging modules.

Equipment:
  • Inveon Dedicated PET System
  • Inveon Multimodality SPECT/CT system
  • IVIS200 in vivo bioluminescence/fluorescence imaging
  • Maestro in vivo fluorescence imaging system
