The Fall Scholars Program, administered by the Office of Culture & Engagement, is a 10-week, hands-on initiative specifically for participants who identify as an early-career individual with a disability. The program provides participants experience in non-clinical health care careers and aims to broaden career perspectives, enhance skills and support career growth within the health care industry.

Supporting Career Growth
Program Requirements
In-person attendance is mandatory throughout the 10-week program, with no scheduled days off except for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Program Eligibility
- Identify as an early-career individual with a disability
- Applicants must be able to work with limited support and perform essential job functions with reasonable accommodation as needed.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent

Application Requirements
Two short-answer questions detailing the following:
- Your interest in the Fall Scholars Program
- Strengths you bring to the workplace or teams
Resume detailing the following:
- Activities in which you participate, or organizations you belong to (church groups, athletics, school, community, etc.)
- Awards/honors you have received
- Work or volunteer experience
One professional reference letter:
- From a teacher, employer, advisor, counselor, mentor or other non-family member who has known you for at least six months
