Ira Baggett is a dedicated pharmacy student at Texas Southern University with a strong interest in pharmacy informatics and a passion for leveraging technology to enhance patient care and optimize healthcare systems. After graduation, Ira plans to pursue a PGY1 followed by a PGY2 Pharmacy Informatics residency, with long-term aspirations of advancing into leadership, administrative, or consulting roles. Ira also hopes to pursue an MBA to further expand expertise in healthcare innovation and management.
Committed to professional growth and leadership, Ira is a member of Phi Lambda Sigma (PLS) and actively participates in several pharmacy organizations, including Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP), Network for Collaborative Oncology Development & Advancement (NCODA), Industrial Pharmacists Organization (IPhO), American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP), Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA), the Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists (TSHP), and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). These experiences have strengthened Ira’s commitment to advancing the profession through collaboration, education, and innovation.
In addition to academic pursuits, Ira works as a pharmacist intern at Walmart, gaining valuable experience in community pharmacy practice while continuing to build a diverse clinical foundation.
Outside of pharmacy, Ira enjoys learning new languages, cooking a variety of cuisines, growing plants, and staying active at the gym.
Elective rotations at Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital include Pharmacy Informatics, Oncology, and Infectious Diseases, providing opportunities to integrate technology, clinical practice, and data-driven decision-making in patient care.

Sharmane Joubert is a motivated pharmacy student at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in fast-paced clinical settings. She aspires to pursue both a PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residency, with the ultimate goal of specializing in critical care pharmacy. Dedicated to academic excellence and leadership, Sharmane is an active member of the Rho Chi Honor Society, where she currently serves as Secretary. Through this role, she fosters professional development and contributes to initiatives that support student success and scholarship. In addition to her academic achievements, Sharmane works as a pharmacy intern at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital, where she continues to strengthen her clinical knowledge and practical skills through hands-on patient care experiences. Her elective rotations at Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital include Emergency Medicine, Pain and Palliative Care (Oncology), and Critical Care, providing a diverse foundation for her future career in acute care pharmacy.
Outside of pharmacy, Sharmane enjoys running, staying active through fitness, spending quality time with family and friends, and listening to true crime podcasts.

Arianna Mata is a dedicated pharmacy student at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy with a strong passion for advancing patient care through clinical pharmacy. She plans to pursue both a PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residency, with a particular interest in oncology while remaining eager to explore other specialized areas of practice. Committed to leadership and community engagement, Arianna is an active member of the Phi Lambda Sigma (PLS) Pharmacy Leadership Society and the Hispanic Pharmacy Student Association (HPSA), where she contributes to professional development initiatives and advocates for the advancement of the pharmacy profession. In addition to her academic pursuits, Arianna works as a pharmacist intern at Elevance Health, where she assists with patient prior authorizations and gains valuable experience navigating healthcare access and medication management.
Outside of pharmacy, Arianna enjoys staying active through rock climbing, discovering scenic walking trails, and unwinding with movies and television series. Her elective rotations at Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital include oncology, ambulatory care, and infectious diseases, providing her with diverse clinical experiences that continue to shape her professional growth.

Kristian Salas is a pharmacy student at Texas Southern University with a strong passion for health-system pharmacy leadership, medication safety, and pharmacy operations. Following graduation, he plans to pursue a PGY1 and a PGY2 in Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership residency, with the long-term goal of improving workflow efficiency and expanding access to high-quality patient care through innovative pharmacy practice. Committed to leadership and academic excellence, Kristian is a member of the Thomas F. Freeman Honors College at Texas Southern University and the Phi Lambda Sigma Pharmacy Leadership Society (PLS), where he continues to develop the skills necessary to become a future pharmacy leader and advocate for the profession. Kristian currently works as a pharmacy intern at Legacy Community Health, gaining valuable experience in patient-centered care while strengthening his clinical and operational knowledge in a diverse healthcare environment.
Outside of pharmacy, Kristian enjoys fishing, working out, running, and spending time with family and friends.
