Urology Residency

Houston Methodist Department of Urology
We are participating in the 2018 Match and will be interviewing in fall of 2017 for two categorical positions to begin July 1, 2018. We are not accepting away urological student rotations.

The Department of Urology at Houston Methodist Hospital places a strong emphasis on achieving academic excellence. Urology is one of the top 10 specialties at Houston Methodist Hospital and Houston Methodist directs millions of research dollars into patient care and offers the latest innovations in medical, surgical and diagnostic techniques.

With strong academic affiliations with the Weill Cornell Medical College and Texas A&M, these medical schools provide anchors for educational excellence. For more than 50 years, Houston Methodist has served as a place where patients receive excellent care and residents receive outstanding medical training.

Our five-year residency program trains the next generation of urologists to provide the highest standard of care while integrating top-level research and innovative technology into every layer of education. Many nationally-known full-time teaching faculty team up to provide residents the best clinical experience possible with abundant resources for education and an emphasis on your personal development as a urologic surgeon. These faculty have been closely involved with teaching and research for decades.
