Houston Methodist Hospitals are bringing a little Halloween magic to families spending this year’s holiday in the NICU.

 

NICU nurses and staff have hand-crafted costumes for the hospital's tiniest patients, transforming them into beloved storybook and superhero characters like "Winnie the Pooh," "Little Red Riding Hood" and "Batman." Other little ones dressed up as classic Halloween favorites like a pumpkin and a ladybug.

 

This heartwarming annual tradition gives families an opportunity to celebrate their baby's first Halloween and create joyful memories during an unexpected and often challenging chapter.
