U.S. News & World Report named Houston Methodist Hospital the 15th best hospital in the nation, making its Honor Roll for the sixth time. Also in this year’s rankings, Houston Methodist Hospital was named the No. 1 hospital in Texas for the 11th year in a row.

The rankings are based on scores in patient care, patient safety, outcomes, nursing, advanced technology and reputation. U.S. News has ranked Houston Methodist Hospital in at least one specialty for the past 30 years. This year, Houston Methodist Hospital is ranked in 10 specialties, the most of any hospital in the state. Six of the ranked specialties appear in the top 20, and two are ranked in the top 10 this year.

Among our community hospitals, Houston Methodist Sugar Land was ranked No. 5 in Houston and No. 9 in Texas.
