Prayer Requests
We appreciate and look forward to the opportunity to pray for anyone who requests it. To facilitate this process, we invite you to text "PRAYER" TO 45991 to submit your prayer requests and a chaplain will be in touch with you. All requests are confidential.
Hospital Chapel
Upon entering the hospital atrium, the chapel is located immediately to the right. The chapel is always open for those who would like a quiet moment to pray or reflect.
How Chaplains Can Help
Chaplains are available to assist with various issues:
- Uncomfortable feelings
- Anxiety and depression
- Grief and loss
- General spiritual support, including sensitive use of religious texts and prayer
- Sacraments and religious rituals
- Family meetings
- Assistance with contacting community clergy
- Assistance with relating religious needs to the medical team
Lay Ministry
Our volunteer lay ministers are trained pastoral caregivers who work under the supervision of the chaplain to assist with the spiritual needs of patients and families at the hospital.
