About Ann Kimball & John W. Johnson

Ann and Johnny Johnson established the Ann Kimball and John W. Johnson Center for Cellular Therapeutics at Houston Methodist because they saw the critical need to have these resources in house and available to the hospital’s physician-scientists. They also generously established the Johnson Endowment at Houston Methodist to fund educational initiatives such as the Residents and Fellows programs to train the next generation of those who will lead medicine.

Mr. John W. (Johnny) Johnson serves as Chair of the Houston Methodist Hospital Foundation Board and has a wealth of business experience and community involvement. He was formerly chairman of Permian Mud Service, Inc. and chairman of the executive committee of its subsidiary, Champion Technologies, Inc. Permian and Champion merged into Ecolab in April 2013. Johnny continues to be engaged with the residual companies as chairman of the board of Johnson & Lindley, LLC, with interests in oil & gas exploration/production.
