If you are looking for a place to hold an event, poster session or even a full conference, consider the Houston Methodist Research Institute. The building comprises 440,000 square feet of space dedicated to translating laboratory research into treatments and cures for patients around the world and includes state-of-the-art conference facilities for meetings and events. Our main auditorium can hold more than 250 participants and there is a large mezzanine to accommodate poster presentations, receptions and breaks. Our boardroom can accommodate another 70 people and we can offer breakout rooms for smaller groups or as overflow from main presentations since all of our rooms are equipped with videoconferencing capabilities. 

The hospital’s audio and visual support and conference staff are on hand for dedicated assistance and we offer onsite catering, as well as valet and self-parking options.
The building is connected by enclosed crosswalks to the Marriot at the Texas Medical Center and is on the METRO bus and light rail systems.
