Physician Wellness

Excellent doctors are not immune to the stressors that are inherent to their profession. Our confidential program seeks to gain a full understanding of factors that can impede physician performance or work and life satisfaction. We provide a full range of assessment services and interventions to those experiencing a personal or professional crisis. While we specialize in giving both preventive and long-term therapeutic support, our ultimate goal is to help each patient achieve a healthy personal and professional quality of life.

The Harmony Center for Interventional Neuropsychiatry

For patients who are not obtaining adequate help from medications or psychotherapy, we offer transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). TMS is a non-invasive intervention that does not require sedation or surgery. Instead, it utilizes magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells within the brain. ECT is instrumental in demonstrating the highest level of efficacy in the treatment of depression. Additionally, our center provides a variety of experimental therapeutic services.
