Houston Methodist San Jacinto Hospital is ranked among the best hospitals in Texas by U.S. News & World Report.
Houston Methodist San Jacinto Hospital ranks No. 7 in Houston and No. 23 in the state in the 2017 Best Metropolitan Hospitals listing. The Baytown hospital was previously ranked No. 7 in 2013 and No. 8 in 2014 in the Houston area by the publication.
Houston Methodist Hospital was named the No. 1 hospital in Texas for the sixth year in a row. Additionally, Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital ranked No. 5 in Houston and No. 12 in Texas.
The rankings are based on scores in patient care, patient safety, outcomes, nursing, advanced technology and reputation. U.S. News has ranked Houston Methodist Hospital as one of the top hospitals in the country for the past 25 years.

Houston Methodist San Jacinto Hospital was rated “high performing” in gastroenterology/GI surgery and in two of nine procedures and conditions: COPD and heart failure.
