Spiritual Care & Education

Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital Spiritual Care and Values Integration department is dedicated to providing compassionate pastoral care to our patients, families, staff and community. The mission of this department is to create an atmosphere of caring, healing and hope for all patients, families and staff. The department of Spiritual Care and Value Integration is staffed by a full time ordained chaplain who offers pastoral support, sacramental ministry and spiritual guidance. Spiritual care services are available 24/7. Regardless of your religion, we strive to provide you with the resources you need to fulfill your spiritual needs with excellence.

Rose Chapel

Rose Chapel is located in the main lobby on the first floor of Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital. Rose chapel was named in memory of Rose Hartsfield and to recognize the importance of spiritual care in her healthcare journey. Rose Chapel is open 24/7 and is available for those who would like to pray and reflect.

The Prayer Room

The prayer room is located next to the spiritual care office in the main lobby on the first floor of Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital. The prayer room was designed to face Mecca and is used for Islamic prayer.

Worship Services

Houston Methodist The Woodlands invites patients, their families, staff and the community to all worship services. Catholic Mass is offered each Wednesday at noon. The sacrament of Holy Communion is offered at this service. Christian Healing Prayer Service is offered every Friday at noon.

Bibles

Bibles are available on all units and through our spiritual care office located next to Rose Chapel.

Volunteers are an integral part of our spiritual care department.
