Global Transformational Leadership

Global Transformational Leadership is our signature global leadership program at Houston Methodist. This three-week course equips participants with tools to spearhead OR affect real organizational change. The program takes a holistic approach by giving participants exposure to both behind-the-scenes operations and Houston Methodist’s signature leadership training workshops.

The curriculum is tailored to the unique objectives of each learner, but includes core curriculum for all participants to:

  • Assess leadership acumen to determine which skills to strengthen
  • Describe various communication styles and their impact on the workplace
  • Identify strategies to build and sustain an engaging work environment
  • Implement processes to coach for performance and for future development
  • Create habits to build resilience in self and within the team
  • Participate in studies led by subject matter experts, using actual challenges learners are facing within their current roles
  • Engage in individual meetings and shadowing experiences with Houston Methodist leaders

Additionally, the program includes exposure to unique cultural experiences across Houston, including the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, NASA Johnson Space Center and other key attractions.
