Pharmacy Rounds
Houston Methodist Hospital is a private, non-profit teaching hospital located in the Texas Medical Center with an average census of about 900 patients. The Houston Methodist Hospital Department of Pharmacy provides over 300 Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) rotations annually and has primary academic affiliations with several colleges of pharmacy:

If a university is interested in establishing an affiliation agreement, they should contact us to start the process, which can take several months.

If a student from a university with an established affiliation is interested in obtaining a rotation at Houston Methodist Hospital, they will need to obtain the appropriate paperwork from their school and have their school representative contact us about availability of rotations.

Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) rotation requests will be considered on an individual basis. APPE and IPPE rotational opportunities are available at our community hospitals as well. Inquiries should be sent to Robin Wells.
