Complete the Application
- Follow the instructions on page 2 of the application carefully.
- When submitting by email, combine all documents into one PDF file.
- If submitting by mail, do not print double-sided or staple your documents.

Admission Process

Submit Application & Fee
- Include a nonrefundable $25 application fee.
- Accepted payment methods: Cash, check, money order, or cashier’s check (payable to Houston Methodist Hospital).

Interview
- Participate in a virtual interview with CPE faculty, staff chaplains, and members of the professional advisory group.
- Alternatively, a written report from an interview with an ACPE Certified Educator at another center may be accepted.

Acceptance & Confirmation
- If accepted, you’ll receive a formal letter of acceptance.
- Confirm your spot by signing and returning the letter with a $50 deposit.

Hospital Application & Onboarding
- You’ll receive a link to apply for the hospital position.
- Approximately 30 days before the program begins, you’ll receive onboarding instructions.
