Dr. W. Blake Haren is a Psychiatrist with Houston Methodist Behavioral Health clinic. He received his doctorate of Medicine from East Tennessee State University, James H. Quillen College of Medicine and was awarded the Christopher Corbin Award for Outstanding Student in Psychiatry Clerkship. He then completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry from Medical University of South Carolina where he received several honors (Laughlin Fellow, American College of Psychiatry, Outstanding Senior Resident, Chief Resident, Administrative, Psychiatry; Chief Resident, Psychiatry / Combined Internal Medicine and Psychiatry Programs in addition to Resident Class Representative – Residency Education Committee). Dr. Haren is certified with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (Psychiatry), American Board of Internal Medicine (Internal Medicine) and American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (Consultation Liaison Psychiatry). He is licensed to practice in Texas, South Carolina and Tennessee.
