About Dr. Tarek Dammad
"My current interest is in practicing, teaching and contributing to the science and art of Interventional Pulmonology that includes, advanced diagnostic, therapeutic bronchoscopy, especially Rigid Bronchoscopy and Medical Pleuroscopy."
Tarek Dammad, MD is a graduate of University of Aleppo, Medical School. He completed Internal Medicine residency at Saint Louis University Hospital and fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Louisville.
He went on to be formally trained and mentored by world-renowned Interventional Pulmonologist; Dr. Jose Pablo Diaz-Jimenez, MD, PhD. Soon after, he became Board Certified in Interventional Pulmonology through the American Association of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (AABIP).
His goal is to lead and implement a high-quality, collaborative, patient-centered Interventional Pulmonology Program that meets the patients' needs.
His passion remains teaching the art and science of Interventional Pulmonology to trainees.
