Dr. Mauney graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M in 2008 and loves her Aggies. Despite this, she earned her medical degree in 2014 from the University of Texas Medical Branch. Upon graduation, she was accepted into one of the top Obstetrics and Gynecology residency programs in the nation at UT - Southwestern in Dallas. During residency she cared for thousands of different patients at Parkland and Clements Hospitals, and had the opportunity to experience and learn about a vast array of pathologies. After completion of her residency, Dr. Mauney chose to come back to her hometown to practice, and she joined the Houston Methodist Physician Specialty Group at Methodist Willowbrook Hospital.
Dr. Mauney is from the Spring area and graduated from Klein High School. She is thrilled to return home to serve the community where she grew up. In her spare time, Dr. Mauney enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter as well as the many grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family all around the Houston area.
