About Dr. Fatima Syed
"My practice is grounded on the simple premise that women deserve to feel safe, heard, and empowered in the care of their physician."
Dr. Fatima Syed was raised in Houston and is passionate about serving the women of her community. Her interest in health equity and reproductive justice led her to pursue a legal education to supplement her medical training. She went on to complete a joint MD-JD degree from Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Houston Law Center. She hopes to use her unique background in both medicine and law to shape the future of women's health in Texas and beyond.
Outside of the office, Dr. Syed enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring the vibrant Houston food scene, and staying active. She is proud to call Houston home and is honored to care for its women with competence and compassion.
