On October 6, 2020, Houston Methodist Board Member and Leading Medicine to the Power of M: Campaign for Our Second Century Chair Elizabeth Wareing and her husband, Peter, hosted a President’s Roundtable. After opening remarks from Houston Methodist President and CEO Dr. Marc L. Boom and Foundation Board Chair Johnny Johnson, guests learned about the new Ann Kimball and John W. Johnson Center for Cellular Therapeutics at Houston Methodist. Dr. Stan Appel, Center Director, Houston Methodist Academic Institute President and CEO Ed Jones, Dr. Jenny Chang, Director of the Houston Methodist Cancer Center, and Dr. Osama Gaber, Director of the Houston Methodist Department of Surgery, discussed the many ways having an in-house cell therapy lab will benefit patients suffering from a wide variety of diseases and conditions.
