ANN KIMBALL AND
JOHN W. JOHNSON CENTER FOR CELLULAR THERAPEUTICS ROUNDTABLE

On April 14, 2020, Michael Metz and Clare Casademont hosted the Ann Kimball and John W. Johnson Center for Cellular Therapeutics Roundtable. Following brief remarks from Houston Methodist Hospital Foundation Board Chair Johnny Johnson, guests heard from Edward Jones, Dr. Stanley Appel, Dr. Patrick McCulloch and Dr. John Cooke about the great promise cell-based therapies hold for effectively treating conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, joint injuries and heart disease. Through the Johnson Center, Houston Methodist researchers will be able to access the resources necessary to develop cellular therapeutics, manufacture them in-house and bring them to patients’ bedsides as quickly and cost-effectively as possible.
