Session 2 of the Neuroscience Nursing Residency Program is April 29, 30, & May 1, 2014

This program is designed for the novice neuroscience nurse or the acute care/critical care nurse who desires to enhance their knowledge of neuro anatomy and physiology and neuro pathologies to improve their ability to care for patients with real or potential neurological deficits or processes. 5th Annual Collaborative Donation & Transplantation: Both Sides of the Coin conference is August 29, 2014

This continuing education event is designed for nurses to expand their knowledge of best practices in the field of organ donation and transplantation. Despite the increase in the number of organs available for transplants, the crisis of organ shortages continues. This program provides information on another opportunity of donation: Donation after Cardiac Death (DCD). Learn more about the Life Gift Conference.

Stroke Wisdom for the Day

The purpose of this activity is to provide nurses with information regarding the symptoms and complications of stroke that impact the patient's trajectory of illness. The goal is to enhance the nurse's ability to recognize symptoms and complications of stroke in order to promote appropriate interventions.
