Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital adds pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine practice

Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital announced today that board certified pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine specialists Drs. Philip Pirtle, Rayman Lee and Gregory Honeycutt are joining the Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group. 

“Whether someone is suffering from hay fever, a common virus, sleep apnea, respiratory disease or a rare genetic disorder, we’re here to help our patients breathe easier,” said Pirtle, who has 27 years of experience in pulmonary and critical care medicine. “We’re proud to be a part of the Houston Methodist team of lung specialists.”

Pirtle earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Lee has 29 years of experience and earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Honeycutt earned a Doctor of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine in 2006. Houston Methodist Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine Associates treat asthma, chronic obstructive lung disease (COPD), emphysema, lung diseases, and lung infections, such as tuberculosis, pulmonary hypertension, cystic fibrosis, as well as sleep disorders.
