Continuing Medical Education
Houston Methodist’s commitment to excellence in all aspects of medical education is epitomized by our extensive continuing medical education offerings. Our Office of Continuing Medical Education provides local, national and international education concentrated in areas where our clinicians and scientists have recognized excellence and our community has the greatest need.

Grand Rounds
Houston Methodist holds regularly scheduled grand rounds in a number of clinical disciplines, including neurology and neurosurgery. These one-hour sessions are open to medical staff and employees of Houston Methodist.

MITIE Virtual Hospital and Procedural Training Center
The Houston Methodist Institute of Technology, Innovation & Education (MITIESM) is an innovative virtual hospital and hands-on clinical training facility for health care professionals seeking to maintain and develop new, excellent procedural skills. We improve patient safety through hands-on training with experienced mentors and conducting research on skills acquisition and technological development.
