Next time you get sick, skip the waiting room and see a provider via video visit at your convenience, using your smartphone, tablet or computer from wherever you are. Our Virtual Care providers will assess your condition, offer a diagnosis and treatment plan and prescribe medication, if necessary, during your video visit.


Houston Methodist Virtual Care is free for employees and their family members, including children as young as 2 years of age, insured by the Houston Methodist Medical Plan in 2018. During set up, simply select HM Employee Medical Plan from the drop-down on the Insurance Screen in the About You section, then enter your Member ID from your Houston Methodist insurance card in the appropriate section (Subscriber ID). Once this information is entered, there is no need to enter a coupon code.


If you already have an account with Houston Methodist Virtual Care, simply select HM Employee Medical Plan from the drop-down on the Insurance Screen, and enter your Member ID in the appropriate section (Subscriber ID) of this screen. When asked for a coupon code, just skip this section. You will see a charge of $0 reflected.


Employees not insured by the Houston Methodist Medical Plan are welcome to use the service for a fee of $50.
