Orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist joins Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital
Continuing to provide comprehensive, specialized health care to the local community, Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital this month welcomed orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist David C. Brown, M.D. The addition of Brown means that orthopedic and sports medicine patients in Clear Lake and surrounding areas can receive specialized surgical techniques tailored to their individual needs without traveling far from home.
Brown is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist with expertise in the latest biologic, arthroscopic, and minimally invasive techniques. He provides compassionate and comprehensive care for all structures of the musculoskeletal system affected by sports participation and degenerative joint conditions.
Born and raised in Texas, Brown grew up in Southeast Houston and moved to Friendswood in high school.
“As a local resident, I’m passionate about helping patients in Bay Area Houston,” he said. “I aim to restore my patients to full functionality and empower them to continue their active lifestyles, regardless of age.”
Brown earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He completed his orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine Medical Center in Houston.
He is now serving patients at 18123 Upper Bay Road, Medical Office Building 4, Suite 200, Houston, 77058. To learn more or schedule an appointment, call Houston Methodist Orthopedics & Sports Medicine at 713.363.9090 or visit houstonmethodist.org/doctor/david-c-brown
