Board-certified cardiologist Julia Adrogue, M.D., will join Methodist Diagnostic Cardiology of Houston at its office on the campus of Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital starting July 15.

“I am excited to be a part of this distinguished practice that has helped bring expert cardiac care to Fort Bend over the years,” says Adrogue.  “This is an especially exciting time to be affiliated with Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital, thanks to the new Heart & Vascular Center that is opening and the great work that is being done here to save lives.  It’s an honor to be a part of this new era.”

Adrogue earned her medical degree from Moscow Medical Stomatological Institute, where she was an honors graduate.  She completed her residency at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinic, and later completed fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine.

Adrogue is board certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography.  Most recently, she served as an assistant professor of cardiology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

“The addition of Dr. Adrogue is a valuable step forward for Methodist Diagnostic Cardiology of Houston and a distinct benefit for our patients,” says B. Keith Ellis, M.D. “She is an experienced, highly skilled cardiologist with a compassionate approach to patient care that fits perfectly with our practice’s philosophy.  I know she will play a major role in helping us continue to grow the level of cardiac care available right here in Fort Bend.”
