Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital is pleased to welcome Melida Tellez, M.D., to the staff of Methodist Family Medicine Group.

Dr. Tellez provides hands-on, compassionate care for the entire family, with a special focus on health and wellness. She provides a full range of health services, including annual health physicals, women’s health, diabetes and blood pressure management, thyroid disorders and other illnesses. Dr. Tellez also provides check-ups and ongoing care for children, and she is fluent in English and Spanish.

Dr. Tellez is a graduate of The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and she completed her post-doctoral training in family medicine. She is a member of the Texas Academy of Family Physicians and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
