Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital Welcomes Two New Physicians to Its Physician Group
Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital is pleased to welcome two new physicians to its medical staff – family medicine specialist Katherine Herring, M.D., and pulmonologist Ravikanth Papani, M.D.
Herring is joining Methodist Primary Care Group at Clear Lake, located in Medical Office Building 1, Suite 302, at 2060 Space Park Dr., Houston TX 77058, on the Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital campus. She will begin seeing patients March 7.
Herring is board-certified in family medicine and comes to Houston Methodist Primary Care Group from a practice in Alvin. She earned her medical degree from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock and completed her residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

Papani is board-certified in pulmonology, critical care, and internal medicine. He is opening a new practice – Houston Methodist Pulmonary Specialists at Clear Lake – that will focus on a range of chronic lung conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer, pulmonary hypertension, sleep apnea, and pulmonary rehabilitation. He also begins seeing patients on March 7.
Papani earned his medical degree from Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Michigan State University in Kalamazoo, as well as a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston.
Papani will office in Medical Office Building 2, Suite 240, at 18100 Houston Methodist Dr., Houston, TX 77058, on the Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital campus.
