Dr. Sohaib Faruqi has been practicing Gastroenterology in North Houston, Cypress, Spring and Tomball areas since 2004. After completing his Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology from Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, Dr. Faruqi did his Advanced Fellowship in Endoscopic Ultrasound and then served as Clinical Assistant Professor in The Division of Gastroenterology at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Faruqi has also served as the Chief of Medicine at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital and Chief of Staff at CHI St. Lukes Hospital at The Vintage.
Dr. Faruqi is Board-Certified in Gastroenterology and specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and management of various gastrointestinal disorders including diseases of the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines, liver, gall bladder and pancreas. He has expertise in various endoscopic procedures including upper GI endoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy. Dr. Faruqi has written several scientific publications that have been published in various peer-reviewed journals
