Dr. Sara Benitez earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Texas A&M University School of Medicine. She completed her neurology residency at Houston Methodist Hospital, followed by a subspecialty fellowship in Neuromuscular Medicine at the same institution.
After graduating from her fellowship in June 2025, she joined the Stanley H. Appel Department of Neurology faculty and became part of the Neuromuscular Clinic team of neurologists.
