About Dr. Randall Wright
'I believe in a comprehensive, patient centered approach to treating complex neurological disorders. The cause of many neurological diagnoses are multi factorial: genetic, environmental and behavioral. As a neurologist, my personal mission is to maintain a comprehensive approach to the treatment of neurological diseases with the use of proven therapeutic interventions, lifestyle modifications and technological advances.'
Randall Wright, MD is the Medical Director for Brain Wellness at Houston Methodist the Woodlands Hospital. He is a board-certified, fellowship-trained neurologist with unique expertise in stroke and dementia prevention and brain health. Dr. Wright is a diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Wright received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine and completed his residency in neurology at Baylor College of Medicine where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Wright is a fellowship trained in clinical neurophysiology and sleep medicine.
Dr. Wright has a passion for saving lives through healthy lifestyle changes. He serves his community and beyond through his participation in the American Heart Association’s Power to End Stroke Campaign as well as leading and serving on various AHA committees and advisory councils on the regional and national level. Dr. Wright is an author and speaks internationally on health, fitness, and Brain Wellness.
Dr. Wright is a family man of faith who is committed to his wife, two children and the larger community that revolves around his neighborhood, church, hospital, and clinic. He plays golf, enjoys fishing, traveling to new countries with his family and is an aspiring cook.

A medical records release is not required for patients who choose to continue receiving care from another Houston Methodist Neurology provider. Patients should contact the office at 936.270.3900 for any questions regarding future treatment needs or to make an appointment with one of Neurology colleagues in the Neurology practice location at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital.
Patients who would like to request a copy or transfer of medical records may contact the Medical Records Department at 713.394.6428. Please keep in mind, it may take up to fifteen (15) business days for records to be released.
