Rachel Mowrey, MD, MPH is a board-certified Occupational and Environmental Medicine physician with expertise in workplace injuries, total worker health, workplace safety and industrial hygiene, environmental toxicology, and preventive medicine.
Dr. Mowrey holds a medical degree from the University of Texas Health San Antonio Long School of Medicine and a Master of Public Health from the University Texas Health Houston School of Public Health. She completed her intern year in obstetrics and gynecology at RWJ-Saint Peter’s University Hospital in New Jersey, and her occupational medicine residency at the University of South Florida, where she also completed a certificate in Toxicology.
Dr. Mowrey is a member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. She is a certified Medical Review Officer, Federal Medical Examiner, and Independent Medical Examiner. Her clinical and academic work reflects a strong commitment to improving workplace safety, promoting health equity, and integrating public health principles into clinical practice.
In her spare time, Dr. Mowrey enjoys cooking multi-cultural fusion cuisine, snorkeling and diving, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
