About Dr. Priya V. Ramshesh

After working as medical director for Southern Indiana Physicians, Dr. Ramshesh joins Methodist Hospital as the Oncology medical director. She treats various conditions in hematology and oncology, both benign and malignant. She finds this field very challenging yet extremely rewarding and fulfilling. Dr. Ramshesh takes pride in treating her patients as family and is very committed to the highest level of safe, innovative, and quality patient-centric care.
Dr Ramshesh earned her medical degree from Grant Medical College in Mumbai, India. She then completed a residency in internal medicine at King Edward Memorial Hospital in India and was working as faculty when fate brought her to America. She then redid her residency program at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, and a fellowship in Hematology Oncology at Louisiana State University. In June 2022, Dr. Ramshesh earned her Masters of Health Administration from George Washington University. Dr. Ramshesh is a diplomate in internal medicine, hematology, and oncology through the American Board of Internal Medicine and is certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. She has earned multiple awards and commendations during both her residency, as well as fellowship training. She brings over 20 years of experience in this field and is a dedicated patient champion.
When she is not working, Dr. Ramshesh loves spending time with her family including her dog as well as traveling and reading.
