Patients should contact the office at 936.270.3480 for any questions regarding future treatment needs or to make an appointment with Dr. Khalil’s colleague in the Oncology Partners practice at Houston Methodist- The Woodlands.
Patients who would like to request a copy or transfer of medical records may contact the Medical Records Department at 936.270.2191. Please keep in mind that it may take up to fifteen (15) business days for records to be released.
Mohammad O. Khalil, MD is a hematologist and medical oncologist. Dr. Khalil is certified by The American Board of Hematology, The American Board of Medical Oncology and The American Board of Internal Medicine.
His clinical expertise includes diagnosis and treatment of cancers and blood disorders; and he takes a patient-centered approach to practicing medicine.
Originally from Amman, Jordan, Dr. Khalil attended medical school at The University of Jordan. His experience includes serving as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Department of Medicine; Chief of Hematology & Oncology Section at the Oklahoma City VA Healthcare System and Site Director of the fellowship training program. During his time at the University of Oklahoma’s Health Sciences Center, he was the awarded the “Faculty Teaching Award.”
Dr. Khalil did his residency for Internal Medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and his fellowship for Hematology & Oncology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Khalil is an accomplished writer, researcher and presenter. He chose to specialize in cancer-related treatments because of the many advances in the field and his passion for helping people. Dr. Khalil is bilingual and fluent in both English and Arabic. Outside of work, he stays active with his hobbies including cycling and photography.
