About Dr. Michael Yaakovian

Dr Yaakovian attended Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania obtaining his Medical Degree. He completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He completed his fellowship focusing on minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Yaakovian later joined Houston Methodist Sugar Land to conduct general surgery with a focus on gastrointestinal illnesses and minimally invasive hernia repair.
